I've been styling bridal hair for over 13 years, and I'm just as passionate about it as I was in the beginning. 139 Hair by Heidi is my boutique company serving brides in Minneapolis, St. Paul and beyond. I'm committed to giving you the best updo you've ever had-so much so that I'll give you a refund on your deposit if you aren't completely happy with you trial.

Your wedding is just the beginning!

You are in the right place. I love working with brides, even if you change your mind a million times and have weird hair hang-ups. (such as "can you please leave those two strands of hair out at my temples even though I feel awkward asking and also, I don't want to look bald!") We will talk about all the little things that are important to you at your trial.

Your wedding day is the beginning of something incredible. My desire is to give you the best service you've ever recieved so that you feel confident and amazing. Then, you can walk down the aisle and focus on what is important: starting your love story and experiencing joy in every single moment of your wedding day.

A bit about me:

In addition to my 13+ years of experience, my beauty education is from the Aveda Institute and I've had advanced updo training from Toni & Guy Academy, Kasia Fortuna Academy, Elstyle, and Hair and Makeup by Steph. I stay relevant on what's new and exciting, spend loads of time studying and learning all the styles out there, plus I have all the classics stored up in my head! This means you will get the updo that is more than you could have hoped for, and it will be perfect. I also have the Best of the Best makeup gals working with me, and they will make you feel beautiful and comfy in your own skin.

Do I work in a salon too? Not any more-weddings are all I do! I love hearing your love story and seeing your creativity come to life through wedding planning. Plus to be honest....I think about updos a lot. The night before your wedding, I'll be laying in bed and mentally doing your updo over and over until I fall into a deep, lovely, beautiful sleep. (No kidding.)

When I'm not doing hair, I'm busy being a mom to Moses and Athena. You can also find me exploring the outdoors via my running shoes or my trusty red road bike. I'm also super into baking, reading, trying to golf, skiing, and hugging and smooching my nieces and nephews. In the wedding off season I am a birth doula! (don't know what that is? click here)

I had my dream wedding in 2014, and it was the most joyful day of my life. I truly married my Prince Charming (*sigh* he is super dreamy!). We have a lot of fun going on adventures, drinking coffee, and constantly refining the ultimate Spotify relax mix.
